Everest is the highest point on Earth above sea level — a monolithic pyramid of black gneiss and ice marking the boundary between Nepal and Tibet. Above 8,000 metres, the air contains a third of the oxygen at sea level. There is no ceiling above this one. The mountain by which all others are measured.

The inner temple of every Frame N° 01 carries the same six characters: 27.9881° N, 86.9250° E. The summit. Sagarmatha. Chomolungma. Forehead of the sky.
The coordinate marks the highest point on Earth. A place only a small fraction of humans alive have ever stood. The first to reach it — Hillary and Tenzing, May 29, 1953 — spent fifteen minutes there. They left a small Buddhist offering. They came back down. Hundreds have died trying to repeat what they did. The mountain still kills, almost every season. The wind at the summit moves faster than highway speeds. Oxygen at altitude is one third of sea level. The body begins consuming itself.
None of that is what the coordinate carries. The coordinate carries the silence that exists at 8,849 metres when the wind drops, the moment Hillary described as standing on top of a sphere with nothing higher in any direction. That's what's etched into the temple of Frame N° 01.
